Every 40 seconds someone succumbs to heart disease and stroke – that’s 62,640 lives this February.

The American Heart Association is on a mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.  R&R Insurance is a proud sponsor of the AHA's 2020 Heart and Stroke Ball taking place on February 15.  Leading the charge as this year's Chairman is R&R Owner, Jack Riesch. It's a personal mission for Jack to honor his late grandfather who passed from a heart attack and other life events proving that life can change in an instant - read more about Jack's mission.

Wear Red, Tune In, and Donate

New this year, the WTMJ 620AM Community Cares program is highlighting stories of local people the American Heart Association has helped in recent years.  Tune in to hear "Stories of the Heart".

Culminating on February 7, national "Go Red Day", is a radiothon to raise money for the American Heart Association.  Hosted by Gene Mueller and special guest, Jack Riesch.

The goal: raise $640,000 for research, programming, and services to help save lives and improve patient care.

100% of donations stay local to support those affected by heart disease or stroke.  Join us in giving hope with lifesaving dollars.

While we’ve witnessed major medical and scientific advances, we cannot continue to allow this to be a trend.  Not for ourselves.  Not for our children.

R&R Insurance Owner, Jack Riesch, literally takes this to heart with a grandfather who passed away from a heart attack.  For him, the risk is real.  An accident left a younger brother a quadriplegic; his youngest brother passed away at 29 from esophageal cancer, and his brother-in-law who didn't make it home from Afghanistan. Jack knows all too well that life can change in an instant.  He is now passionate about providing resources for everyone to make improvements today for better tomorrows.

Why the American Heart Association?  "Walking my daughter down the aisle is WHY. Seeing my son get his diploma is WHY. Celebrating my next wedding anniversary is WHY.", reflects Riesch.

Paying closer attention to his own health in recent years with a regular exercise routine and eating a healthy diet, Jack is walking-the-walk already.  And now it's time to pay it forward by advocating for others to change their health outcomes.  Not only helping others to add more years to their life, but more life in their years.

By partnering with the American Heart Association, together we are able to support a culture of health:

  1. Improving quality of life
  2. Ensuring health environments
  3. Strengthening the economy
  4. Elevating care
  5. Changing policy

We are thankful for ... our new phone system!

Posted by the knowledge brokers

Thu, Nov 10, 2016 @ 15:11 PM

Thank you to our valued clients for your patience over the past months as we transitioned to a new phone system.  The great news?  We’ve listened to your needs and incorporated the feedback we’ve been receiving to make this system the best in the industry, while maintaining the personal service that is so important to all of you (because it’s important to us, too).

So what can you expect the next time you contact us? In today’s busy world, we know time is of the essence when it comes to managing your insurance program.

  • First and foremost, our goal is to allow you to reach a live Knowledgebroker at any time during the work day (say goodbye to multiple voicemails and phone tag!).  When you contact our agency with a question or a change, we want that interaction to be quick and easy whenever possible.
  • Secondly, we want the experience of working with a knowledgeable insurance agent to be enjoyable…maybe even fun!  So we’ve continued our philosophy of hand selecting and training the best in the business, and believe we will be able to use our collective talents to provide a unique and positive interaction every time you call.

We believe this client-centric approach will continue to foster a life-long relationship with all our clients.  We truly are committed to your success and want to exceed your expectations in every circumstance.  We hope you like our new system as much as we do!
