Dan Hart, General Manager of R&R Insurance Services’ Menomonee Falls, WI, office was honored with the Larry Stewart Humanitarian Award at the Menomonee Falls Chamber Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet, held on January 24, 2013.

This award is presented to a person(s) whose actions promote the welfare of humanity, the betterment of the Menomonee Falls area, and the quality of life of its citizens. 

Dan was born and raised in Menomonee Falls.  For over 42 years he was worked in the Falls in the insurance industry.  He serves on the Board of Community Memorial Hospital, Community Memorial Foundation and the Potawatomi Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.  He has also served on the Boards of the Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Menomonee Falls and both Tri-County and Metropolitan Milwaukee YMCA.  In addition, Dan is a member of the Menomonee Falls Parade Committee and the Menomonee Falls Kiwanis Club.

The Wisconsin Association of School Boards Insurance Plan (“Plan”) is pleased to announce the establishment of its Endorsed Agent Program. Five insurance agencies specializing in serving the property and casualty and employee benefits insurance needs of Wisconsin school districts and CESAs have been endorsed by the Plan, R&R Insurance Services of Waukesha, WI is one of the agencies for the Property & Casualty insurance Plan.

The endorsed agencies were selected based on their knowledge, depth of resources, and experience in facilitating the provision of insurance and risk management services meeting the special needs of Wisconsin school districts and CESAs, and their willingness to collaborate with the Plan to expand programming in this regard.

Plan Chair and Elk Mound School District Board member Tim Sivertson is enthused about the new program. “These firms have made a commitment to offer Wisconsin school districts and CESAs insurance and programs which meet districts’ ever-changing needs. That’s vitally important as school boards face the challenges presented by reduced budgets and legislative changes.”

“All employees will benefit from the Endorsed Agent Program as the Plan and agencies work together to analyze and communicate ideas which yield the most favorable results for improving health and reducing injuries,” says Nancy Thompson, Plan Trustee, WASB, Inc. Board President and Waterloo School District Board member.

Congratulations to our very own HR Director, Nora Hauser, for being a finalist in the BizTimes "Fittest Exec" challenge!  The "Fittest Exec" initiative works to exemplify the many ways that companies can achieve lower health care costs and higher productivity.

Riesch-Knapp has spent the last four years successfully servicing a commercial book of business with R&R Insurance as a Commercial Lines Account Executive. She is part of the third generation of the Riesch family actively involved in sales and leadership roles within the agency. Stephanie also has three years of commercial underwriting experience with West Bend Mutual, prior to joining R&R Insurance in 2008.

"Stephanie has significant experience in the Property and Casualty arena, specifically in Workers Compensation", states David Lancaster, Vice President Employee Benefits Practice at R&R Insurance. "One of our core business strategies is to develop a market leading service platform for clients seeking 24 hour insurance solutions with regard to Employee Benefits and Workers Compensation. Our very own Lainey Gullickson & Sam Peebles made the Waukesha Freeman as part of "Decades Day" supporting the United Way.  Employees were encouraged to dress from their favorite decade to raise money for the United Way.

Katzfey has more than seven years of marketing experience ranging from experiential to online.  Prior to R&R, she worked for GMR Marketing LLC and Pinstripe, Inc. in a variety of client services roles. As a Regional Manager at GMR Marketing, Katzfey managed strategic programs with account teams and assisted in executing events for national clients.

Lancaster has more than 25 years of insurance industry experience in managing insurance operations, agency relationships and team development. Prior to R&R, he worked for Liberty Mutual Group in numerous high-profile positions including President and CEO of Indiana Insurance. Lancaster has multiple years of experience in both P&C and employee benefits management roles.
