My insurance and consulting career is approaching the decade mark. Prior to joining the insurance industry, I worked in business development and client service, including time at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Milwaukee Bucks (GO BUCKS!). As an employee, I remember being on the other side of insurance listening to a Benefits Consultant discuss the benefits available to me—and not understanding the terms they used or how the benefits worked. I decided when I joined the insurance industry, my number one priority was to to ensure employees and employers understood benefits, without all the jargon. At R&R, we say "a benefit not understood is not a true benefit." I work every day to ensure the benefits offered are understood.
In addition, I believe it is important to be a good listener—to truly understand my client's needs. I work with them to develop and implement solid strategies both for the organization and their employees.

I have more than 20-years of experience in the group health industry, which includes an extensive background on both the insurance carrier and agency side. I provide a unique perspective having knowledge of the internal processes of insurance carriers which gives me additional negotiating power. My passion is to create and develop meaningful relationships with clients while also being able to understand their goals and ultimately create solutions as well as provide them with evidence-based recommendations.
