Scott offers over 25 years of insurance experience in providing strategic and operational leadership. His extensive background in commercial insurance including general liability, products liability, auto and property, and an emphasis in workers’ compensation is a valuable advantage for the client’s he serves.

Scott’s previous executive leadership roles include managing a large workers’ compensation claim department for a mono-line work comp carrier, and managing a corporate self-insured claim department for a Fortune 500 manufacturer with multiple global locations and over 11,000 employees.

He uses these past experiences to assist clients with implementing strategies to better control their cost of risk.

What did you do before joining R&R, and how does that experience help you serve clients today?

• Insurance Carrier Experience: Worked as a multi-line insurance adjuster. Promoted to claim manager for a mono-line worker’s comp carrier. Managed a claim department of 50+ in WI, MN, SD and ND.
• Manufacturing Experience: I used to be the Global Worker’s Comp and Safety Director at Briggs & Stratton. Also was the International HR Director and oversaw all expatriates around the world. Was a management rep on the Wisconsin Worker’s Comp Advisory Council.
• Insurance Agency Experience: Using things I learned from the carrier and manufacturing experiences to help my clients.
