What motivated you to become an insurance professional?
Understanding the important role that "risk transfer" and insurance plays in literally making business worldwide possible. The challenge of my Dutch ancestors to risk shipping commodities across the seas created modern day insurance and that is still true today.
What do you love most about your work?
The daily interactions with business professionals in a challenging and ever changing environment keeps work very interesting.
What has been your biggest success in the past year?
Navigating through the economic uncertainty created by cyber threats and hacking.
How do you help your customers overcome their challenges?
By understanding the total picture of risk management options available to them and then executing a plan to help them eliminate, reduce or modify their risk.
What did you wake up excited about today?
Finding a new challenge to help solve with a customer.
