Bio
Nicki offers over 16 years of human resources expertise. Her specialties include HR strategic planning, talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, employee engagement/culture, labor law and legal compliance, and compensation.
What motivated you to become an HR professional?
While in my junior year at UW-Oshkosh and with no experience in Human Resources, I landed a summer job in a recruiting agency. I absolutely fell in love with Human Resources. When I returned to school, I added a business major. I was so lucky to have found my perfect career prior to graduating from college.
What do you love most about your work?
People are my passion and I genuinely love Human Resources. My favorite areas of HR are organizational development, training, and leadership coaching. I love being in front of a classroom teaching.
What has been your biggest success in the past year?
That’s easy! Joining the R&R team! Prior to working at R&R, I spent my career in manufacturing. So, I am super excited to transition to a new industry.
How do you help your workforce excel?
I always want to provide the highest level of customer service possible. Positive and trusting relationships are extremely important to me as well and have been essential to my career. Additionally, I focus on ensuring that employees are given the tools to succeed at work.
What did you wake up excited about today?
It’s easy to wake up excited because I love my job! I am fortunate that HR leadership is a perfect fit for my personality and I wouldn't want to do anything else.
What are you most looking forward to with your work in the year to come?
In the year to come, I hope to become a trusted partner and a strong leader at R&R. I am also excited to assist in the growth and development of the R&R team.
