What motivated you to become an insurance professional?
As a psychology major, I wanted to help others. I get to do that every day, whether it’s individuals with their life and disability insurance needs or employer groups wanting to provide quality benefits for their employees.
What do you love most about your work?
The personal interaction with my clients.
What has been your biggest success in the past year?
Seeing 2 of my 3 kids graduate from college. One with her masters degree in theater, now pursuing her dream of being an actress, and one of my two sons with his civil engineering degree who now has a terrific job as a project manager with a large construction company. Hopefully, the youngest will graduate in May of 2017 with his degree in computer engineering.
How do you help your customers overcome their challenges?
My psychology background taught me to be a good listener, don't judge and together with my clients, we can find solutions for their needs and/or challenges.
What did you wake up excited about today?
Actually, I am excited each and every day I wake up and thank God for the blessings I have.
What are you most looking forward to with your work in the year to come?
Continuing the constant growth so that I can be more helpful to my clients.
