I had no idea what I was getting into when applying for my first insurance job, but once in the industry I loved it.
The feeling of really helping people, of being able to learn about their business, and working with them find the best coverage available in addition to reducing their risk of financial loss due to claims or pricing increases.
I was complemented by the regional manager at Zurich who attended a major client’s quarterly meeting for the manner in which I handled the meeting and my ability to explain insurance language in an easy-to-understand way.
I listen to them! I ask quite a few questions about their business and/or issues, always trying to relate the discussion to a policy coverage in the back of my head. Once I know what the issues are we talk about the options, both insurance and other courses of action, to determine what is the best fit for the client.
Starting a new chapter in my life with R&R Insurance. There is so much to offer here and I can't wait to meet the clients I will be working with.
