What motivated you to become an insurance professional?
I just "happened" to get into the insurance industry after a close friend worked in the business. He often spoke about the industry, which peaked my interest. I did some research and joined Sentry Insurance, July of 2000, and have been an insurance sales professional ever since.
What do you love most about your work?
I thoroughly enjoy hearing business owners' success stories and learning about their companies. Then taking this knowledge to build a partnership to help them transfer risk. Everyday brings something new and the diversity of whom you might work with, is exciting and provides daily motivation.
How do you help your customers overcome their challenges?
By listening. I want to hear and understand their challenges and concerns, then utilize the resources, tools and relationships that R&R Insurance offers to address those challenges. The greatest part of the job is to be able to tell someone during a time of need "Don't worry, we can get this taken care of."
What did you wake up excited about today?
The excitement of a new day and the opportunity to help others.
What are you most looking forward to with your work in the year to come?
The idea of starting new and building long-lasting relationships.
