The reasons why R&R Insurance Services has achieved consistent, sustainable growth for more than three decades is no accident. Although we've acquired agencies along the way, our growth has been mainly organic thanks to our underlying fundamental philosophy of being a true sales organization. We know that we will not grow and meet our strategic objectives without writing new business and obtaining new customers. Another reason for continued growth is the simple fact that we are a owned by one person. Ken Riesch is the sole owner of R&R Insurance Services. He does not answer to Wall Street, a board of directors, or a group of venture capitalists interested in lining their own pockets. Ken takes the profits of the business and reinvests in technology and people to keep it growing. He also shares a portion of the profit with all of his employees – resulting in a very healthy profit sharing plan for all employees.
The basic fundamental philosophies of re-investing for growth, employing the best talent in the business, building relationships based on honesty and respect, and offering superior service and value to our customers are what continue to drive R&R’s success.

Incorporation – Main Street, North Prairie, Wisconsin
In downtown North Prairie, in the basement office of a building on Main Street, the beginnings of what would become one of the largest independent agencies in the Midwest was formed. In 1976, R&R Insurance Services was founded by the five original owners: Otis Riesch, Ken Riesch, Dexter Riesch, Bob Roehl and Jack Jeffries.

Moved offices to Brookfield, above Donovan Mirror and Glass at 19700 Bluemound Road, Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Dexter Riesch joined R&R Insurance Services adding financial services to our product and services listing.

Relocation of Headquarters – 1581 E Racine Avenue, Waukesha, Wisconsin
AIM agency acquisition

Fort Atkinson office established.
1998 was the year for acquisitions. The Hartung and Sikorski agencies were acquired in March. The Mason agency was acquired in July establishing our Fort Atkinson office on Main Street in Fort Atkinson. The Cadwell-Burg and Summit Global agencies were also acquired.

Acquisition of 2 books of business – The Markel Agency and ADPS Agency books were acquired

The Ziegler Agency in West Bend was acquired mid-year, establishing our office in West Bend, Wisconsin and our first presence in Washington County.

Completion of expanded headquarters – 9,000 square feet of office space and 4,000 square feet of basement storage were added to corporate headquarters in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Judith Dellamater agency acquired.

Acquisition of AIS Group, Kirchen Agency and Regional Insurance – The acquisition of AIS Group gave R&R instant presence in Menomonee Falls, Beaver Dam and Hartford, Wisconsin. The reputation of AIS Group in their communities and the resources we could offer their customer base was a perfect match.
R&R Insurance becomes an Assurex Global partner.
