Waukesha -- R&R Insurance Services, Inc., one of Wisconsin’s largest and most diverse independent insurance brokerage firms, welcomes Mike Harrison as Executive Vice President.
Based at R&R Insurance Services’ headquarters location in Waukesha, Harrison will be directly involved with the placement of middle market accounts for business throughout the state. “The market right now is soft and extremely competitive and insurance companies are hungry for new business in the middle market arena. Having Mike Harrison’s expertise gives us the advantage to be able to meet those carrier needs”, states Ken Riesch,President and Owner of R&R Insurance Services. “We are poised more than ever to meet our new business objectives with key hires such as Harrison.”
Harrison comes to R&R Insurance with more than 15 years of insurance industry experience. He has held positions with Wausau Insurance and Sentry Insurance, including Multi-Line Commercial Underwriter and Director of Commercial Accounts. Most recently, Harrison was Regional Vice President of Underwriting and Distribution at Wausau Insurance, where he managed appointed agencies in 14 states. Harrison holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, with an emphasis in finance. Harrison also possesses CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) and ARM (Associate in Risk Management)insurance designations. Originally from Sheboygan, Harrison resides in Cedarburg with his wife and three children.
